Privacy Policy

How Noursolve handles the information you put into it.

Last updated 25 September 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Noursolve handles information collected and provided through the service.

What we collect

Mainly what you type in, plus what is needed to run your account:

  • Account details: your email address, your display name and your currency choice.
  • Tasks: titles, notes, categories, priorities, due dates and reminder times.
  • Money entries: amounts, dates, categories and your own descriptions for income and expenses.
  • Budgets: the monthly limit you set for each category.
  • Bills: names, amounts, due dates, how often they repeat, and whether they are paid.
  • Savings goals and debts: targets, dates, balances and interest rates you enter.
  • Household sharing: the email address you invite and which bills are shared.
  • Subscription details: your plan, its status and renewal date (never your card number).
  • Optional documents, asset values, calendar entries, planning scenarios, and planning assistant questions.
  • Feedback and support messages you send us.

Noursolve does not connect to bank accounts. Amounts in your account come only from what you enter yourself.

Information collected automatically

When you use Noursolve, a small amount of technical information is created so the service can work and stay secure:

  • Sign-in and security records: our sign-in provider records sign-in events and sessions, which can include your IP address, browser details and timestamps.
  • Basic product activity: the names of actions such as “task created” or “Premium page viewed”, with a timestamp. These never include amounts, descriptions or other content you enter, and are stored only in Noursolve's own database. You can turn this off in Settings.
  • Error records: when something fails on our servers, we record which area failed and the type of failure, without your entries.
  • Standard request information that our hosting and infrastructure providers process to deliver pages, such as IP address and browser type.

Noursolve does not track your location and does not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.

How we use information

  • To provide and maintain Noursolve, including storing and showing the tasks, money entries, bills, budgets, goals, debts, documents and other information you save.
  • To create your account, keep it secure, and send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password resets.
  • To send the emails you have turned on, such as the welcome email and bill reminders.
  • To provide household sharing with the people you invite.
  • To process Premium subscriptions through Stripe.
  • To answer your questions in the Premium planning assistant, when you use it.
  • To respond to support requests and feedback you send us.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and security problems.
  • To understand which features are used so we can maintain and improve the service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

The planning assistant

The Premium planning assistant (Ask Noursolve) only runs when you send it a question. When you do:

  • Your question, recent messages in that conversation, and a summary of relevant information from your Noursolve account (for example your bills, budgets, goals and debts) are sent to generate an answer.
  • The request goes through the Lovable AI gateway to an OpenAI model, which generates the response.
  • Requests are sent with the setting that tells the provider not to store the conversation for later use. How long providers keep request records, and whether they use them for training, is governed by their own terms.
  • Your questions and the answers are saved in your Noursolve account so you can see past conversations. They are removed if you delete your account.

If you never use the assistant, none of your information is sent to it.

Where your data is stored

Your account and entries are stored in a managed database provided by Supabase, through Lovable Cloud, which handles hosting, sign-in and encryption at rest. Traffic between your device and Noursolve is encrypted in transit. Our providers may process information in the United States or other countries, so your information may be handled outside your state or country.

How your data is protected

  • Your dashboard, entries, documents and settings are only available after you sign in. Public pages such as this one can be read without an account.
  • Database rules restrict each record to the account that owns it, so other users cannot read your entries.
  • Uploaded documents are kept in private storage that only your account can reach.
  • Payment secrets stay on the server; the app running in your browser never holds them.
  • Household sharing only exposes the specific bills you choose to share with members of your household.

No system can be guaranteed secure. Please use a strong, unique password.

Who else handles your information

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. These providers process it on our behalf:

  • Supabase, through Lovable Cloud — database, file storage, accounts and sign-in.
  • Lovable — hosting of the Noursolve website and app, the AI gateway for the planning assistant, and sending Noursolve emails.
  • OpenAI — generating planning assistant answers, only when you use the assistant.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Premium. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly; we only receive your plan, its status and renewal dates.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and similar technologies

Noursolve uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. This is needed for the service to work. When you open Premium checkout, Stripe's payment form may set its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention. Noursolve does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or other tracking technologies.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to:

  • Know about and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your information.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of certain processing, where the law provides that right.
  • Appeal a decision about your request, where the law provides that right.
  • Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

Many of these you can do yourself: download a copy of your entries from Settings, edit or delete entries at any time, delete your account from Settings, and cancel Premium without deleting anything. For any other request, email support@noursolve.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Deleting your account

When you delete your account from Settings, Noursolve:

  • Cancels any active Premium subscription first, so you are not charged again.
  • Deletes your uploaded documents from storage.
  • Deletes your saved entries, planning assistant conversations, households you own and your household memberships, subscription records, preferences, feedback and activity records.
  • Deletes your sign-in account.

This happens right away in the live service. Copies may remain for a limited time in backups kept by our infrastructure providers until they are replaced.

How long we keep it

  • Active accounts: your entries stay until you delete them or delete your account.
  • Deleted accounts: removed as described above, apart from temporary backup copies.
  • Billing records: Stripe may keep payment and billing records for its own legal and accounting obligations.
  • Legal requirements: we may keep information longer where the law requires it.

Children

Noursolve is not intended for children under 13, and accounts should not be created for them. As our Terms of Service state, you must be at least 13 to use Noursolve. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as Noursolve changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes, we will give additional notice, such as a message in the app or an email.
